Meppershall went like a dream!
And so it should – the weather was ideal and the stallholders brought loads of beautiful crafts – almost thirty stallholders offered a wide range of items from cards and candles to hand knits and 3D printed dragons. For those of us who like to plan ahead it was a great opportunity to stock up with Christmas presents made with love. People were arriving throughout the day and we were delighted when several stallholders told us they’d had a really good day – with one saying it was her 2nd highest sales ever!
This was our first time at Meppershall Village Hall and we were so pleased to see villagers arriving with the whole family in tow, and many people driving in from the surrounding area – the large car park was very handy! It was also an ideal location for the Thai catering van which did a roaring trade throughout the day – with delivery for stallholders direct to their stall.
So yes it went like a dream but as with any dream it was 90% perspiration and 10% inspiration – huge thanks to Living Life Magazine and Shefford Newsline for allowing us to advertise with them, and I’ll be going out this week to take down the posters in Meppershall and the local villages, swapping them for our next 2 events that are both happening this month!
